CSA Click + Collect Program

Our CSA Click + Collect Program is a new way for our customers to interact and support White Pines Family Farm.

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation with the farmers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. Generally CSA members would receive a weekly box of veggies and fruits for an entire season in return for their pledged support.

Food preferences today are shifting, with a new emphasis on health, exclusion diets, greater choice, and convenience.  Consumers want food that is quick and ready to eat, but also fresh and nutritious. Today’s consumer wants to align food choices with their personal values and/or dietary needs (vegan, organic, free-range, gluten free, etc) and they increasingly want to know the story behind their food.  Support of local food has become increasingly important.

White Pines CAS is designed to respond to today’s shift in food preferences like greater choice and convenience. There are no common produce boxes with White Pines CSA.  Our CSA is centered around choice.  You can purchase our farm fresh produce, or you can choose to purchase healthy products made from our fresh produce

With White Pines CSA you pay a monthly  fee and then have the choice of what to purchase from Fresh from the Farm, Healthy Eats – Local Treats, Certified Organic Celebration Herbals Tea and/or our Gourmet Food products. These purchases can be made on our website or in our store once it is operational.  To thank you for your support to our farm and Market, we offer CSA purchasers a discount off the listed price of products/produce your buy as follows:

Monthly Commitment of $90 in purchases paid by a customer at the Beginning of a Particular Month = 15% discount off website or store prices

All Monthly Commitments paid for a particular calendar month must be paid by the third of the calendar month to trigger your discount for the entire calendar month.  Each calendar month you must remember to buy the Monthly Commitment of $90 or your discount will be lost.  Any unspent monthly commitment will be lost at the end of the each calendar month.  Therefore each calendar month you begin the process again by purchasing a Monthly Commitment of $90.   Any purchases above your $90 commitment will remain discounted until the end of the calendar month.

 

Subscribe and Save!

Monthly Commitment is $80  for customers setting up Monthly Automatic Payments.  15% discount off website or store prices

If you Subscribe to Monthly Automatic Payments your commitment of $80 will be charged to your credit card at the first of each calendar month.  Any purchases above your $80 commitment will remain discounted until your subscription is cancelled.  

If you do not spend your subscribed monthly amount in any one month (perhaps you go on vacation), you may bank the remaining amount for the month to use at any time within a calendar year (January to December).  If you cancel your subscription any banked amounts must be spent in the month of cancellation or they will be lost. 

You may cancel your automatic withdrawal at any time by emailing whitepinesff@gmail.com.   Cancellation will take effect on the 1st of the month following a cancellation request.
